I did point out that I believe holding the bottom 3 shrines is a completely viable strategy as long as it's only one team doing the holding (maybe don't even need the full team to do so.) The rest could enter the fort from the side closest to the 3 shrines, or go from equipment shrine to equipment shrine, or go from equipment shrine to inside the base or hold/mob one shrine for all I care as long as they can survive long enough for the kill count not to make up the difference and have the shrine lead more often than not. I also happen to believe that any attacking "tank" team that can cap the base should so that they can tank the mob that normally ensues since that is an equally viable tactic. The other two teams should concern themselves with the solo cappers (killing or capping behind them, whatever floats the boat).

Lol, must have been tired - yet I still disagree with bridge fights. They are messy and risky, holding operations tend to end in failure unless the enemy offers itself piecemeal. Went on to almost agree with you

Yeah holding the brindge is the best tactic for the map, but you know why it doesnt work? Because your (Luxon side) team has lots of retards who would lol, swear at this and leave the bridge so you are left as a 4 man team vs. 12 other people (unless you are a good balanced, dont know how you would win)...and then those idiots laugh that the tactic didnt work...the whole bridge camping tactic is to run back and forth the bridge killing random people who come to cap...assuming you always have hold of ressurection shrines it works wonders.

It's unfortunate that many Luxons can't see the big picture.

A blue bridge = a loss.

You bring up a good point but there are some issues you also have to consider.

As you said, you must have one other team to help you with the bridge. However, a good 4 man team can take one of the rez shrine, albeit with some difficulty, when the 2 Luxon teams are scattered along the bridge. A strong capper such as a competent E/A Promise Nuker can take out the rez shrine or at least the NPCs before the Luxons can react to it. Though most people for some stupid reason, nuke at the gate of the bridge, those that nuke at the side of an advantage in which they cannot be reached by melee. Sins that shadow-step to nukers on the side are often countered by a good monk or kurzick reinforcement on that side.

In addition, one of the teams must be able to capture one of the equipment shrines and hold it consistently in order to get 4 out of 7. This isn't going to happen unless the Luxon team has strong enough to resist 6+ Kurzicks for a relatively long time. To keep the bridge from being overwhelmed, the kurzicks will also have to be attacking in small groups of 2 or 3 at the most.

A big problem I see with holding the shrine is that, if one rez shrine is captured, Luxon will be fighting an incredibly difficult battle unless they control both of the equip stations or the base shrines. If both rez shrines are captured, and luxons don't have at least one of the equips and both of the base shrines, the game is lost. Of course, the kurz can epic fail and mob as they do often, causing them to lose the game.

I usually enjoy holding the bridge (im kurzick) on kaanai. Run something with plenty AoE (dervishes+splinter is fun). If the other 2 teams cap around you win, but sometimes they stay on the bridge for some reason, wich usually results in mobbing and losing.

This is why I dont get how the 'hold the bridge' tactic works. Suppose your just gonna have to see how the kurzicks play and if they actually attack in waves of 2 or 3 at a time rather than 6
